The 2004 Byron Bay Writers Festival Program
This year's program covers the full scope of contemporary writing including fiction and non-fiction; journalism and poetry; writing for screen, stage, song and food.
In particular, the 2004 Festival will look closely at the place of Australia in the world today, its changing image and reputation internationally and will explore the way in which this is represented by, or examined in, the written word. The Festival will also explore social and cultural changes that impact on people today and why these changes are occurring.
